INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT

Are you a creative, energetic and dynamic communicator, with a thorough knowledge and experience of internal communications?

Our client are seeking an Internal Communications Assistant who is a proficient writer, with a strong planning focus and the ability to manage multiple tasks. You'll need to demonstrate creative flair and the use of industry best practice and have an appetite for using technology and developing new ways of delivering communications. A strong news sense and the ability to manage and react to emerging issues quickly and effectively will form a basis for this role.

You will be responsible for a number of activities from sourcing communication material through interviewing employees, questioning managers to writing interesting and exciting articles for a software audience that is not only informative but also delivering clear communication messages.

In this role you report to the Head of Communications and work closely with the HR team to produce messages and information for publishing and sharing within the companies UK locations. Often working with colleagues from across the company and the wider group, you will be able to demonstrate a high level of stakeholder management, communication skills and political acumen.

Knowledge of Fatwire is not essential but would be advantageous, as would the use of social media as a communications tool. A degree of flexibility in approach is required as you would need to visit other offices based throughout the UK on an adhoc basis.
