Internal Communications Advisor: Chemicals: World Leading Oil Company

INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS ADVISOR: CHEMICALS: WORLD LEADING OIL COMPANY

CANDIDATES WILL NEED TO BE AVAILABLE TO START ASAP ON A 3-4 MONTHS INITIAL CONTRACT.

World Leading Global Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications Advisor to join their Downstream Chemicals division. This is a great chance to work for a well-known Global Organisation with long term prospects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Driving the delivery of Chemicals Internal Communications planning, execution and measurement
- Support the EVP of Chemicals in delivery of his/her business priorities and become a trusted advisor to business and functional stakeholders;
- Support strategic communications projects as required;
- Work closely across this companies internal departments to align internal and external messaging and content.
- Input to budget management
- Manage third-party relationships

ABOUT YOU:

- Over 4 years communications experience
- Strong understanding of the Chemicals business (preferred)
- Strong project management skills
- Fluent command of written and spoken English
- Demonstrated knowledge/delivery of communications programmes including strategic use of tools/channels
- Ability to build strong business/commercial knowledge and to translate this to simple communications language that effectively drives the Chemicals narrative
- Ability to work globally and virtually

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
