Internal Auditor/Auditor- ISO 27001 - (contract) - Lancashire

Internal Auditor/Auditor (ISO 27001) required on an 8 week contract for my client based in Lancashire. You will support the Head of Compliance in the delivery of internal audit plans and achieve ISO 27001 certification. You will also be required to conduct internal audits against BSI standards, specifically ISO 27001.

Other responsibilities will include:
Identification of key actions and recommendation of improvements
Monitoring progress of corrective actions through re-audits.
To be compliant with health and safety legislation.

Requirements:
Knowledge of ISO 27001:2005
Desirable - Knowledge of ISO 27001:2008
Ability to define, work with and fully understand processes and procedures
Formal internal auditing experience
Desirable - Experience of the communications sector and operating within the PSN framework
Experience of end to end business process
Must be able to work on own initiative and also as part of a team

My client is looking to interview immediately - Daily contract rate will depend upon experience
