Internal Audit Supervisor

Conducts complex audit assignments. This is a senior level position, specializing in the complex area of IT audit and data analytics. Requires a broad knowledge of practices and procedures and calls for originality and ingenuity in developing strategies. Provides training and guidance to less experienced staff. Works with limited supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
- Implement new applications
- Process change initiatives
- Meet new or modified regulatory requirements
- Perform preliminary reviews.
- Tailor the scope of each audit.
- In conjunction with Audit team, develop customized work plans, execute the plan, and perform the more complex areas of the plan.
- Prepare audit comments and the final report and communicating with the auditees closely throughout the process.

SKILLS:

Must possess a bachelor's degree with emphasis in Accounting, Business Management or Information Technology. Advanced degree in a financial or technical discipline is a plus.

- At least five years of experience in audit or related fields is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, investigative, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail, initiative and the ability to work well both independently and as a part of a team are required.
- Must be results-oriented and possess the ability to work on multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
- Preference will be given to candidates with professional designations/certifications (CPA/CIA/CISA) and public accounting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of IT general and application-specific controls is preferred
- Functional experience using data analytics tools to perform routine, automated analysis is preferred
- Project management experience is preferred
- Application of accounting, IT controls, and auditing expertise is preferred
