Internal Audit Specialist (IT)

Harvey Nash is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Specialist for an initial 12 month contract position in Glasgow city centre. The purpose of the role is to work on a number of regulatory and internal audit activities, whilst helping to drive improvements within the company's IT risk team.

Other responsibilities will also include:

. Managing regulatory requests on a global scale
. Enabling the remediation of regulatory and technology audit related issues
. Tracking all technology audit and regulatory metrics globally
. Working on the improvement of the regulatory, audit and client engagement practices of the technology risk team on a global scale.
. Liaising regularly with senior management across a diverse global team
. Flexibility to undertake other responsibilities when required due to the small team size.

Skills required:

. Demonstrable experience with technology risk
. A strong regulatory or internal audit background
. Strong IT background, with an excellent understanding of IT terminology
. Familiarity with financial services regulations
. Knowledge of operational risk concepts and best practices
. Strong analytical ability and excellent problem solving skills
. The ability to organise your time effectively when managing numerous demands and changing priorities

The successful candidate will also ideally hold a professional industry certification such as CIA, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, or CISSP.
