KEY SKILLS: INTERNAL AUDIT/COUNTER FRAUD/AUDIT MANAGEMENT/TEAM MANAGEMENT/FRAUD MANAGEMENT.

A Local London Borough is looking for an Internal Audit and Counter Fraud Manager to to manage their Audit and fraud teams and to act as the council's Head Of Internal Audit and Risk Management on an initial 3 month contract with the view to extending indefinitley.

You will take responsibility for the management of the Internal Audit and Counter Fraud division, including ensuring that it achieves the objectives set out in its service plan.  You will also oversee fraud investigations in compliance with statutory requirements and develop a programme of proactive counter fraud excercises both within the organisation and with partners and other organisations as appropriate.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- 3+ Years experience of managing a team of Internal Auditors within the Public Sector
- Counter Fraud experience
- Local Government experience.
