Internal Audit Manager

Working closely with the head of Internal Audit carrying out audits and providing assurance on the design, establishment and operations of control within the group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To carry out audits on the group's businses worldwide. The audits comprise all aspects, financial and non financial, of the group's diverse businesses.
- Dependent on experience and the nature of the audit, the audits will be conducted as part of a team, or independently.
- To make recommendations to improve business processes and controls, and contributing towards greater business efficiency.
- To conduct special projects as requested by the head of internal audit or relevant plc board director.
- To liaise with internal and external regulatory/compliance officers and risk management as required.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To execute all aspects of the audit process - planning, scoping, drafting reports and obtaining management responses
- To provide input and contribution to the risk assessment and audit planning process.
- To follow-up audit issues to ensure they have been adequately addressed by management.
- To prepare reports and documentation in support, in accordance with professional standards.
