Internal Audit - Internalcontrol/Risk - Contract - London

A leading Top Tier Investment Bank is looking for an Internal Auditor to join the London office. The role has a internal control/risk/Sox focus. It has been released as a 6 month rolling contract with the potential to be extended or even turn permanent.

Responsibilities

- Assistance in planning and executing audits
- Help deliver regulatory required work
- Help perform issue validation work on an ad hoc basis
- Participate in audit and Sox related assignments
- Assisting in the follow-up of audit issue management to ensure the timely and quality remediation of audit and business identified control issues
- Providing assistance in the periodic risk assessment exercises by helping to identify and document control trends, regulatory themes and emerging risk

Requirements

- 4 years minimum of banking audit experience
- Experience in working as an Auditor on Integrated audits with Business Audit an advantage
- A strong understanding of Global Market Sales and Trading products
- Basic Banking product knowledge and associated processes.
- Ability to constructively and effectively engage trading, risk, compliance, finance and operations personnel
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA advantageous

The successful candidates will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders.
