Interim Transformation Manager - Adults/Local Government

Projektbeschreibung

Due to movement within the Adult Services Transformation team, our client is looking to bring in an experienced Transformation Manager/Commissioning Manager (with knowledge of quality assurance, Business Intelligence and business analytics) to oversee performance and provide additional support with project and contract reviews.

You will work closely with the performance team and accountants, as well as the operational teams across all areas of Adult Social Care including Older People's Services, Reablement, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health.

WORK STREAMS WILL INCLUDE:

1. Review of the current reablement service
2. Review of the current discharge service
3. Commissioning review of the mobile night time service
4. Review of direct payments

The authority has a major financial challenge ahead of them to achieve savings in the region of £120 million, there is a lot of scrutiny on spending and your work will feed into the wider savings agenda.

You will need significant transformation/change management experience gained from a commissioning or service delivery role within Adults Social Care for a Local Authority. You will also need experience of effective partnership working and an understanding of the national integrated working/joint commissioning agenda.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

. An understanding of commissioning and procurement for vulnerable groups.
. Knowledge about the legislation, national strategy and needs of venerable groups.
. Proven experience of effective inter-agency working.
. Good organisational and problem solving skills.
. Articulate and able to communicate well both orally and in writing.
. Report writing and verbal reasoning ability sufficient to write and present reports
. Numerate and literate - able to develop costed business cases.
. Ability to form and sustain relationships with internal and external colleagues, customers and service users.
. Ability to translate complex data into plain English.

OTHER SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

. Positive attitude, customer focused and solutions focused. .
. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
. Ability to question, challenge and criticize in a constructive and sensitive manner.
. Self-motivated, flexible and proactive in managing own workload.
. Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Access a distinct advantage.
