Interim Supply Chain Project Manager

AN EXPERIENCED PROJECT MANAGER IS REQUIRED TO WORK ON THE TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME.

The Transformation Programme is looking at all aspects of the business ensuring that the business is 'Fit for the future'

A critical part of the Transformation Programme is the review of the core Supply Chain processes/systems. This will include Supplier management, demand planning as well as supply chain/stock management. This Programme is at an early stage and so this is an exciting opportunity to deliver solutions which drive out the best processes and solutions to support the business in its current and future goals.

This role will need to work pro-actively and effectively with key business stakeholders as well as reporting progress to the Programme Manager and escalating issues wherever appropriate.

- Working closely with the technical supplier/agency to make sure they are delivering to plan to quality within the agreed cost constraints
- Working closely with the business project sponsor and business design team to deliver the user journey, interface designs and overall solution
- Working closely with the Test Manager and Team to agree the test strategy and test plan
- Use standard company PM tools to report and manage the project
- Manage risks, issues, assumptions
- Accept a handover from the incumbent PM
- Hold weekly project status meetings with key business and supplier resource
- Hold weekly Steering groups with the project sponsor and other senior resource

YOU WILL NEED:

- Managing bespoke development projects
- Defining and managing supplier quality gates through prototyping, testing and implementation stages
- Ability to apply effective project management in both agile and waterfall environments
- Delivering projects within a complex programme environment
- Change management: to advise business on impact of changes
- Mange the project financials
- Online booking, reservation, check-in systems/Retail experience
- Projectplanning, aligning activities, quality assurance, delivery

DESIRABLE:

- Definition of high level test requirements and scenarios based on business use cases
- Business case production including business, technical and financial feasibility assessment
- Hospitality/Restaurant/Retail environment experience
- Contemporary online system user experience (website, mobile, apps)
- Understanding of architecture and infrastructure
