Interim Senior Procurement and Category Manager

THE CLIENT
Green Park has been appointed by a renowned Private Equity house to assist with the merger of a new acquisition by establishing a Procurement and Category division across three business units.

As these business units have been separate until now, we require an established Interim Senior Procurement and Category Director for the leadership of across critical spend categories for the Group whilst supporting the embedding of common and effective procurement processes across the group.

THE INTERIM ASSIGNMENT
The Senior Procurement and Category Director would partner the executive leadership team across the business.

The assignment will surround the establishment of the procurement and category department across the business units handling strategic sourcing and supplier management with a key focus on innovation through the supply chain to drive continuous improvement.

You would be responsible for the end to end procurement and managed spend categories which will include Omni channel.

THE INTERIM MANAGER
The appointed individual will need to display deep gravitas whilst acting in a highly entrepreneurial manor to complement the environment. You MUST have come from a significant consumer organisation and be able to provide sound understanding of consumer markets in a highly competitive environment.

You will need to display a consistent track record of identifying innovation that have had positive and significant commercial impact on the business that operates as a differentiator within the market.
