Interim Senior Management Accountant - NHS

* Rate: £250-300 per day
* Contract: 6 months

I am working with an NHS Foundation Trust which urgently requires a qualified interim Finance Manager with Senior Management Accounting experience.

The Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for providing support to the Head of Management Accounts through the day to day running of the finance team and month end process.

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a Full Accountancy Qualification with a strong background in Management Accounting within NHS Acute or Foundation Trusts.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the Head of Management Accounts
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Variance analysis
* Month end accounts closure
* Liaising with budget holders
* CIP monitoring and tracking
* Costing project support
* Ad-hoc duties where required
* Supervising junior accountants

Essential skills and experience:
* Qualified Accountant
* NHS Acute or Foundation Trust
* Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant roles
