Key responsibilities of the role include the setting up and guiding on installation of school systems, management reporting, budget setting, operational review, reporting, Tax, Funding, facilities, Human Resources and operations.
The successful candidate will have experience of successfully leading budgetary management and control processes within an organisation.
Knowledge and experience of managing procurement contracts for services, risk assessments and health and safety legislation.
Knowledge of HR and other aspects of administration to include management of information systems, experience of developing and managing financial management systems.
Have had managed cash, budgets, audits, financial reporting (internal and external), procurement and fixed assets. Gained hands on experience secure grant-funding and generate income.
With a permanent post available, the successful candidate has the opportunity to build a finance and operational team with a view to considering a permanent appointment.
To succeed in the role the successful candidate will have gained previous experience as a school business manager and/or similar role,hold a formal accounting qualification CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CSBM and poses the financial acumen to shape the finance operations.
System and MS package experience is essential and knowledge of SIMS FMS, PS Financial or other ERP systems would be a distinct advantage.
