Interim Resource and Engagement Manager

Our Central Government client is seeking an experienced Interim Resource and Engagement Manager to develop and build workforce plans, as well as development of the contractor conversion programme. The position also has responsibility for staff engagement, working closely with interim managers to build and deliver an engagement plan across the business. Deadline for applying is Thursday, 20th February 2014.

Main responsibilities include:
-Managing the budget for the staff engagement programme, providing detail of spend
-Ensuring the Resource Plan is accurate and kept up to date, reflecting real time data
-Checking charging instructions and descriptors are correct and all necessary accompanying documents are in order
-Engaging Stakeholders and Senior Managers throughout the group to promote staff engagement issues
-Working with Finance and HR to ensure that resource plans are aligned and accurate for business planning
-Ensuring that all resourcing and engagement issues are properly communicated throughout group
-Maintaining staff spreadsheets and other lists

To apply for this role you must have:
- Previous experience in Financial and budget management
- The ability to design and propose solutions to meet business needs.
- Experience in communications and people engagement
- Experience in understanding of corporate drivers such as the strategy, values and core behaviors
- Experience in Recruitment and Workforce Planning
- Experience of working within the public sector, ideally complex central government organisations and/or commercial sector
