Interim Quality Manager

Interim Quality Manager - Contract - 6 months - West Midlands

I am currently looking for an experience Interim Quality Manager for my automotive client based in the Midlands.

My client specialise within interior and exterior trim within the automotive industry and are looking for an Interim Quality Manager to support their ever-growing team within the Midlands.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities and skills:

Responsibilities:

*Support Project Team to define the Project Quality Plan.
*Support the application of the Quality Control Plan.
*Assist with continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, value engineering, lean manufacturing.
*Recommend changes to improve the Quality systems.
*Monitor project quality KPI's

Essential Skills:

*Understanding of Quality Management Systems and tools
*Previous Experience of Interim Quality Management positions
*Experience and understanding in APQP and PPAP.
*Experience of liaising with cross functional teams
*Automotive background is essential- 1st Tier supplier is preferable.
*Experience of Interior or Exterior Trim is desirable
*Experience of plastics is desirable but not essential
*Internal Supply Chain exposure would be desired but not essential.
*TS Lead Audit trained would be desirable.

The successful candidate will receive a market competitive rate based on a 6 month contract with likely extensions for a market leader within the automotive industry.
