Interim Premium Finance Manager - Freelance - 6 Month +

We are currently seeking an immediately available premium finance professional to join the team for an initial 6 months period to support a variety of business as usual activities

Reporting to the Head of Premium Finance the assignment requires an understanding and demonstrable experience of the following:

. Premium lending in the context of General Insurance

* Credit scoring, policy setting and pricing of unsecured lending, preferably within insurance

* Premium finance product design

* Collections policy and debt collection

* Management of debt collection agencies

* Regulatory knowledge

Accountabilities are as follows:

The successful individual with either be taking the lead role as the premium finance subject matter expert on a major change project or will support the Head of Premium Finance managing the BAU strategy whilst the Head of is seconded to the programme.

Progamme accountabilities would involve:

* Representing the Premium Finance business (policies and processes) within the change programme

* Defining the future requirements for premium finance and working to implement them as part of the change programme

* Make recommendations regarding prioritisation of requirements

Management accountabilities would involve:

* Management of the credit policies and pricing of all premium finance products across car, bike, van and home insurance ranges

* Accountable for the bad debt performance against budget

* Accountable for collections policies and progresses including the debt collection agency strategy
