A leading manufacturing organisation based near Milton Keynes are looking for an Interim People Transition Lead, for an initial 6 month contract. My client is looking for an individual who is an expert in TUPE on mobilisation and bid development, and who has the experience of leading a small team.

The successful candidate will be required to:

1) Lead, develop and manage the implementation of, a commercially focussed, legally compliant, People Transition strategy to facilitate the business strategy and change agenda.

2) Guide and advise business leaders and senior HR colleagues to ensure the operation of excellent people practices throughout contract bidding, mobilisation and demobilisation.

3) Lead a team of HR specialists in the delivery of a high quality business development support service, managing resources, building business development team capability, influencing and implementing people interventions to provide competitive advantage in contract acquisition.

4) Work collaboratively across the HR function to ensure understanding of business pipeline and associated risks/implications, identifying strategies to mitigate and influencing wider HR strategic direction.

5) Ensure effective project management of multiple HR work streams simultaneously ensuring quality provision of guidance and support to meet tender deadlines and project milestones.

6) Lead, manage, coach and support the People Transitions team implementing blended learning solutions to deliver core competency improvements and maximise individual effectiveness and contribution.

7) Build and maintain an up to date knowledge of business development, transition and mobilisation best practice.

8) Coach business and HR colleagues. Influencing bid and project delivery approaches to enhance effectiveness/profitability and maximise successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of working at a senior HR level in a multi site, operational environment, with the ability to develop a business focussed HR strategy and drive HR activity to meet business needs. Experience of managing large scale TUPE transfers is essential as are excellent relationship management and communication skills.
