Interim NHS Primary Care Project Manager

My NHS client based in London are urgently looking to appoint an Interim Primary Care Project Manager, for a period of 3 months minimum; Rate is negotiable upon experience.

The candidate must have hands on experience of managing Locally Commissioned Services (LCS) or Enhanced Services within a PCT/CSU/Primary Care setting.

The requirements of the role include, but are not limited to:

- Manage the review of the Locally Commissioned Services (LCS) that the CCG commissions from General Practice and Pharmacies, in line with the process agreed;
- Ensure all Locally Commissioned Services are transferred to the NHS Standard Contract by 1st April 2014, working with the Commissioning Support Unit;
- Ensure all necessary groups are kept briefed throughout the process;
- Manage the LCS payment process working with NHS England, GP Practices, Public Health and Pharmacists;
- Ensure payments are made via Shared Business Services as necessary;
- Establish process to automate payments as far as is practicable whilst ensuring payments are in line with entitlements;
- Work with Public Health to agree payment procedures;
- Support the QOF QP process in the CCG as necessary.
