Interim NHS Communications Lead

My client an NHS organisation in London is looking to engage an Interim Communications Manager to support them through a period of significant change and development.

In this role you will be working both internally and externally to board level and with key stakeholders in partner organisations.

In this role you will:

Manage the implementation of the communications strategy, taking the lead in delivering and developing elements of the strategy for accompanying action plans

Provide appropriate communications support for project leads in support of service design and national and local policy issues as required

Plan and implement time-limited communications projects - namely development and coordination in supporting business tool templates, development of guidance in support of Patient Public Involvement and Equality Assessment Impact

Research write, edit, proofread and coordinate core internal communications mechanisms including Newsletter and website

Undertake in-house graphic designs required eg. Production of leaflets and/or posters

Manage corporate events.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in NHS Communications and be able to engage with people on a daily basis.
