I am working with a client who are looking for an experienced NHS Contracts Manager to join them for an initial 3 month contract based NW of London.

The purpose of this role is to provide an effective Contracting and Provider Management service to customers of the Herts, Bedfordshire and Luton (HBL) business unit of the CSU.

The post holder will act as a senior technical expert on matters relating to contract management and development, provide leadership and guidance to Contract Managers/Coordinators on all aspects of negotiation and contract management and contribute to developing an expert contract management service.

To be considered for this assignment, applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:

- Excellent experience of NHS Contract Management and Monitoring
- Excellent understanding of the NHS Standard Contract in relation Acute Providers and CSUs/CCGs, as required
- Ideally have managed provider contracts
- Have ACUTE contract experience
- Ability to support effective change mechanisms and change programmes (QIPP)
- Local and national contract negotiation and management experience
- Be comfortable managing a portfolio of contracts as assigned
- Have availability to start a new assignment ASAP
