Job Title: Interim Marketing and Fundraising Team Leader
Location & Post Code : WV4 (Wolverhampton, West Midlands)
Salary: £28,000 Per Annum (6-month Fixed Term Contract)

Role: To assist in the development and to lead our client's current Fundraising and Marketing team.

Your main duties will be:

1. To lead the current Marketing and Fundraising Team, ensuring each function is mutually supportive and positively contributes to the overall revenue plan.

2. To assist in 2013 implementation plan and development of a new marketing and fundraising strategy

3. To assist and monitor the annual marketing and fundraising budget in support of the new plan against the monthly management accounts.

4. Setting individual and team performance targets, enable each individual to achieve and monitor them monthly.

5. Attend appropriate networking and business group seminars / meetings.

6. Supervise the development and submission of bids and applications to grant making trusts organisations ensuring their quality and impact.

7. Work with the CEO and centre teams to develop and nurture new corporate revenue streams.

8. Monitor the progress of community fundraising including box collecting and legacy programmes and make recommendations for their future development.

9. To be responsible for health and safety in the fundraising department including the creation of risk assessments for all events.

10. Manage and develop the fundraising database, reconciling it with the management accounts, whilst making recommendations for improvement.

11. Supervise and help develop their clients media profile, including social media, press and radio.

12. Ensure all marketing material adheres to the current branding guidelines, following copyright regulations and are proof read.

The ideal candidate should possess the following criteria:

Qualifications:
- Fundraising, Marketing and / or Management qualification level 4 or equivalent.

Experience & Knowledge:
- Proven track record in fundraising, securing donations from individuals, trusts, grants, foundations, corporations and within the community.
- Skilled in bid writing.
- Knowledge of fundraising methodologies.
- Marketing experience including creation of marketing strategies, plans and materials.
- Experience of developing high performing teams and getting the best out of people.
- Budget setting.
- Knowledge of the West Midlands region and experience of setting up and leading committees.

Skills / Abilities:
- Strong communication skills, able to mentor and lead a team and meet financial targets including KPIs.
- Monthly accounts management, to use all forms of social media , negotiation skills, competent IT skills.
- Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Event management skills.
- Good evaluation skills.

Personal Qualities:
- A self-motivated enthusiastic individual, problem solver, creative flair.
- Commitment: Starter - Finisher , ability to work flexible working hours.

- Driver with own vehicle
