Interim Manager - Reducing Red Tape in Agriculture

Harvey Nash's public sector client currently require an Interim Manager to come on board and work on a project to help reduce red tape within Agriculture.

To be successful in this role, you will have prior demonstrable experience across the following
- Conducted high level negotiations with officials in Scottish Government and Scottish Governments' agencies and external bodies.
- Critical analysis
- Excellent communication skills - used to working with politicians.
- Agricultural knowledge as well as knowledge of the wider rural sector interdependence.
- Familiar with government funding, sector approach and rural delivery.

Highly desirable, but not essential report writing skills.

This is a part time role for up to 80 days work over a 6- 8 month period, culminating in a report to Cabinet Ministers. You need to be flexible around hours and location as will be required to travel around SG Offices for meetings as well as occasional travel to London.
