Interim Inside Sales Manager

OVERVIEW

Our client is a major vehicle leasing company based on the M4 corridor and we are looking for an Interim Inside Sales Manager to review and improve current performance and manage the Inside Sales Team during maternity leave 

BACKGROUND

The current Inside Sales Team has 2 x Telemarketers who handle initial customer screening and 4 x Inside Sales Executives who make the sale. Our Client is currently leasing 700 cars per annum into fleets with sub 50 vehicles and has targeted to increase sales to 1200 cars in 2014.  To achieve this, our client will be recruiting 2 x Inside Sales Execs, 1 x Telemarketing and 2 x Admin to support this expansion.

Our Client also wants to increase the fleet size they're dealing with and is looking for the Interim Inside Sales Manager to develop this side of the business.  Additionally, our client wishes to move the sale away from the cost of rental and more towards the value of service the Company delivers.

THE PERSON

- We are looking for a strategic Interim Inside Sales Manager who has experience of growing and managing a successful Inside Sales Team. 
- Although this is a managerial position, it's imperative that the Interim Inside Sales Manager can lead by example and provide the necessary training and management based on personal experience. 
- Industry experience is of limited importance.

ASSIGNMENT SPECIFICS 

- The role is to cover maternity leave and is likely to last 9 to 12 months 
- The day rate will be split 70% fixed and 30% based on results
- The location is along the M4 corridor
- the role starts in October/November
