Interim HR Director - Change
£500 - £600 Per Day
Plymouth
6 Month FTC

A local authority, undergoing a period of exceptional change, is seeking a knowledgeable HR Director on a 6 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:
*Provide Senior HR case management, working with exceptionally challenging or sensitive personnel issues
*Lead the HR Function into a period of great challenge, providing shape and drive leading to radical change in HR working practices, capability and value for money
*Act as senior HR Subject matter expert, advising the senior responsible officers for the People & OD and the Co-operative centre of operations transformation programme
*Lead negotiation for changes to workforce T&Cs
*Simplification of Key HR Processes - Acquisition Development and exit
*Alignment and preparation for moving to a Shared HR Services model
*Best practice policy implementation and workforce planning

Key Experience and Skills:
*Experience of leading HR functions through radial re-purposing
*Experience of cost reduction and burden reduction work within HR functions
*Knowledge of bringing together HR functions into shared service arrangements
*Devising negotiation strategies and leading negotiations with Trade Unions
* Understanding of ERP systems and their implementation of HR processes

You will be an experienced HR Generalist, with a particular focus on change and organisational development. CIPD qualification is essential. This role is based in Plymouth, but will also involve the opportunity for home working
