The role will involve working with the Assistant Director in securing the development, efficiency and success of the department through effective leadership as well as leading projects that will have a significant impact on the performance of children's services.
We are looking for someone that can work at a senior level, with experience across a number of areas including:
- Looked after Children
- Children in Need
- Transformation
- Adoption and Fostering
- Safeguarding
Extensive experience in Children's Services and a substantial track record of service improvement within a local authority is an essential for this position. It would also be extremely beneficial to have a professional social work qualification.
