Interim Financial Modeller

The Company

Robert Half Management Resources are currently looking to engage with an Interim Financial Modeller to work for a fast growing business in Bristol. The position will last for 2-3 months.The Role

The project is to create a standalone model to create projections for a specific variable which is a key driver of overall group financial performance

The model must be capable of automatically updating by pulling information from various databases across the business, so knowledge of SQL and other database protocols is critical

The model must be simple to understand and drive off a simple set of assumptions, so must have experience in creating user-friendly models which can be passed on to other users

The modeller must be able to set out and communicate various alternative approaches to the challenge and work to a project plan

Estimated time required: around 4-6 weeks, with potential to address further modelling challenges if the project is successfulExperience

Experience in creating, developing and managing complex integrated financial models capturing a large number of independent business drivers

Strong commercial business acumen demonstrated through experience in a commercial environment or on commercial projects

Advanced excel and database manipulation skills

Diligence and excellent attention to detail

Collaborative, flexible and able to roll-up sleeves and get involved in various areas of the finance teamSalary & Benefits
