Interim Financial Controller

Hudson are recruiting for a Interim Financial Controller for a large financial services organization based in Manchester for a 6 month contract.

THE ROLE

- Oversee and control the monthly close process, ensuring no day 3 entries
- Manage the SOX processes and work towards the elimination of all deficiencies
- Liaise with internal and external auditors as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and corporate accounting policy
- Oversee the production of balance sheet reconciliations to a good standard

OUR CLIENT

Our client is a large financial services organisation based in Manchester. They are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller 6 months assignment with solid exposure to working in a global EMEA shared service type environment. You will bring with you a background of IFRS,US and UK GAAP and will have responsibility for Statutory reporting.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

- Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
- Financial services and asset management experience a distinct advantage
- Exposure to EMEA global type environment
- Must Knowledge of IFRS, US and UK GAAP
- Previous experience in Statutory reporting, Controls and oversee Month End

WHAT IS ON OFFER?

A daily rate of £460 a day for a 6 months contract
