Interim Finance Director

Split between two locations (London and Birmingham) we are looking for a solid interim Finance Director to help the strategic development and growth of the companies finance position. Working with senior stakeholders, the board and trustees you will work with a complex budget and assist with the planning for 2013 business and operating budgets. Operating at a senior level we are looking for someone with experience of working on multiple sites/roles where you have been responsible for complex budgets within £50+ million turnover organisations. The suitable person will currently be working as a Finance Director or as a Head of position and have experience of working across many different business sectors (ie not focused on just IT, accountancy etc..). You will have a strong appreciation for business and the ability to handle complex P+L. Some experience with public sector and charitable organisations is preferred. The role is focusing on pure strategy development and budget planning. The responsibility for day to day management of the finance team falls within other areas. There will be travel between the two sites and the suitable candidate must be willing to travel.
