Interim Finance Business Partner

The Company

Robert Half Interim Management Resources are working exclusively with National UK FMCG brand to appoint an Interim Project Accountant to work across it Midlands, and South West operations to provide support to a number of capital investment projects to business partner multiple project and site teams by providing robust financial guidance, analysis and control.

The Role

Business Partnering with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will possess strong commercial and operational communication skills, able to engage at all levels. Your expertise in financial modelling will be at the expert level, managing detailed cost management financial models for the projects, validate financial assumptions and provide understanding of sensitivities and track risk opportunities, tracking performance against project KPI's. Working with the site & project teams you will ensure cost and benefit assumptions are robust, to include CAPEX costs, commissioning and start up costs, site overheads, people and headcount assumptions ensuring all assumptions are up-to-date and risks/opportunities flagged. You will ensure all capital and restructuring costs comply with group accounting governance. You will provide all the financial updates for discussion at the Project Steering Group and provide ad hoc financial updates and scenario based financial models as required. Were you will demonstrate excellence is in your ability to Project Manage, actively business partnering with the Project Directors, providing a key link into the site team to ensure financials are communicated effectively. You will have proven financial management experience of capital projects, and ensure consistent link up with the wider business processes throughout eg Budget, cash flow and month end reporting.

Salary & Benefits

This project is likely to run for 6 months and can pay up to £300 a day. Flexibility will be key as there is multiple site locations across the Midlands and the South West. This role would fit in well with Interim Specialists who already service a client pool because it is likely that this role will run on a 3/4 day week basis.
