Interim Director Of Information - Essex - NHS

As part of the preparation for potential acquisition, the Trust are keen to appoint an interim Head / Director of Information Management immediately into a key strategic role working with the Executive Directors. To be considered for this interim assignment, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

-Experience of working in a strategic Information Management role
-Ability to carry out an effect overview of the whole Information set up (eg. systems, processes etc.)
-Experience in carrying out "maturity" assessments across all systems and processes
-Be able to know what good Information Management should look like and provide evidence of changing bad to good (in the NHS).

In addition to this, the postholder for this key post will need to be:

-Objective
-A "straight-talker" able to gain confidence and "buy in" at all levels
-Be an "ideas person" and able to carry ideas through to conclusion
-Be ready to "roll their sleeves up" and "get their hands dirty"

This role is vital for the future of the Trust and they are keen to move quickly, interview this week and appoint for an immediate start or for the successful candidate to start within a week. This post is for an initial 3 months with a view to extending and paying £450 - £500 per day DOE. Please note, as ever in the NHS, cost is going to be very much on the client's mind so day rates closer to £450 are more likely to secure an interview.
