Interim Data Steward

Investigo Data Science and Analytics team are supporting our global pharmaceutical client in appointing an interim Data Steward for on their EFPIA Transparency Programme.

The Transparency team purpose is to provide and support EMEA division with new and upgraded systems and capabilities to enable them to efficiently disclose and report in line with local and EFPIA requirements and enhance business insight.

Main responsibilities:

- Ensures that data is correctly captured and systems are correctly configured to meet EMEA data reporting needs. Primary focus is on Transparency data but other data will be in scope
- Acts on behalf of data owners to confirm that data required for reporting is used as intended, to confirm that data processes and standards are defined, implemented and complied.
- Monitors Affiliate's adherence and compliance to data quality and shares best practice
- Manages data quality issues resolution and remediation across EMEA Affiliates by investigating and addressing root cause of data quality issues

Personal Profile:

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or Information Management (or similar technical, analytical degree)
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Information Management, Data Governance and Data Quality best practices
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to produce quality work under pressure and be able to deliver tasks against tight deadlines
- Must be able to balance competing priorities from multiple internal clients
- Drives activities to successful completion
- Ability to pragmatically and innovatively implement regulations and laws in a way that ensures compliance but does not stifle commercial goals

Experience:

- Multiple years' experience in a pharmaceutical environment, preferably in close relation to pharmaceutical and data ownership
- Proven experience in supporting a business team with mixed business and project deliverables
- Proven data remediation experience
- Experience in business analytics and/or data management and compliance
