Interim Consultant in Public Health

My local government client are looking for an interim Consultant in Public Health.

They have a particular interest in the below points, however they are looking to consider any registered consultants who are happy to pick up new areas and experience:

- Mental health issues including drugs and alcohol
- Integration of health and social care services to better support frail elders; avoid hospital admission etc
- Leading the development of service specifications and generally providing specialist PH support to competitive procurements, ideally in a local government setting 

They are a forward thinking council who have warmly welcomed the Public Health team into the council.

As part of the Director's team, these roles will be critical in helping to shape the future of the council. 

We are looking for Consultants who can work seamlessly with partners, help shape the commissioning process to make a real difference and to successfully explain the nuances of the public health debate to a wide audience and who can influence key decision makers and navigate skillfully through complex agendas both inside and beyond the council to make a tangible difference to the population they serve.
