Interim Communications Lead

I am looking for an experienced Interim Communications Lead for my central government client. You will be functioning across both London and Birmingham offices. You will lead the implementation of an effective and coherent communications plan that delivers proactive and target messages. You will be working closely with the Corporate Communications Team to implement a coherent communications plan that delivers a proactive and targeted messages about organisation's price review to internal & external stakeholders.Deadline for CVs is Monday, 16th December.

You will also be responsible for:

Working with the Price Review programme to develop, implement and deliver and internal and external communications plan for the Price Review

* Providing regular reporting of progress against objectives for the plan to the Director of Corporate Communications.
* Researching and drafting written materials for communications about the review, including media articles, briefings and speeches.
* Provide high-quality support to the Chair, Board and senior management, including the Director of Corporate Communications.
* Supporting the matrix management operating structure through a flexible approach to work.

To apply for this role you must have:

* A degree level qualification or equivalent.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of a broad range of communication channels and when they should be used effectively, e.g. web, social media
* Experience of working in public relations, public affairs and in a lead communications role within public sector, ideally central government.
* Experience of developing, implementing and delivering a strategic communications plan and communications strategies covering both internal and external activity.
Experience of working with regulations, ( either economic or utilities is highly desirable)
* The ability to influence externally and internally stakeholders.
