Projektbeschreibung
You will be responsible for:
- Undertaking market research to understand the supplier market, including the collation and analysis of research data
- Developing and implementing a procurement strategy to support the programme to jointly procure a new transport system
- Taking ownership of assigned categories, engaging with the customer and supply chain to deliver category benefits
- Drive cost reduction and implement continuous performance improvement, reporting on benefits realisation of assigned categories
- Facilitate the delivery of contractual arrangements and support structures required to deliver results on assigned categories
To be considered for this opportunity you must:
- Be CIPS qualified or equivalent
- Have a strong track record of developing and improving procurement and delivering category management, ideally within the Public Sector
- Have strong experience of working successfully with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, delivering and implementing supply chain, procurement change projects
- Strong evidence of working ideally on the procurement of Transport systems and excellent negotiation and influencing experience
- Evidence of leading major procurement exercises and contract development work, with a strong knowledge of a wide range of contract types and forms
