Job Description:

Within the Network Capacity Planning domain, we are currently requiring the support of test/business analysis services. The Network Capacity Planning domain forecasts weekly the expected weight on the Global Logistics companies Network for 8 week out. Within this domain there is a business owner who is responsible for the actual forecasting and a technical owner who is responsible for providing the tools to make these forecasts.

The contractor will perform test analysis and business analysis in the area of forecasting. The contractor will analyze and document all business processes as to forecasting and then translate them into business requirements and assist the IT Development team to create technical solution proposals (forecasting tools). He/She will make the link between business and IT. Therefore a good technical knowledge is required but it is also important that the contractor fully understands the business requirements in order to support the Business and IT development teams during the development and test phases. The contractor will need to interact frequently with the business to analyze the business processes. The business stakeholders are based all over the world, therefore it is important to maintain a good and clear communication.

The contractor will need to create the test structure, the test cases and perform the testing him/herself. He/she will also need to assist in the UAT.

Technical skill set:

- Basic knowledge SQL
- Basic knowledge of big data models
- Basic knowledge of Python or R

Softskills:

- Good communication skills
- 5 years of experience with Test & Business analysis
- Good profiency in English
- (nice to have) knowledge about forecasting tools.
