Interim Bid Manager

The Company

Robert Half Management Resources is partnering with a Professional Services organisation based in the South West in order to recruit an Interim Bid Manager; this role is being offered on a fixed-term contract of 3 months, with the possibility of an extension to six months.

The Role

We know that the legal market continues to be challenging and competition is fierce. Success comes from really understanding your clients, their businesses and sectors and working in strategic partnership with them. The Business Development team is crucial to this strategy. They are firmly Embedded within the business and work closely with the partners offering a real expertise in winning new business. As our client remains in growth mode, the team are involved in a number of high profile bids, hence the urgent requirement for an interim Bids Manager.

Working with Business Development professionals and partners alike, you will take responsibility for the tender process, preparing responses to invitations to tender, coaching partners on best practice, providing research for tenders and monitoring market trends, competitor and client activity.

You

It is essential that the successful individual has strong experience in of the tender process and has experience of this in a previous role. Given the urgent nature of this role, legal sector experience is crucial. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, experience of managing and developing a team and be confident dealing with people at all levels of the business.
