INTERIM ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE PROJECT MANAGER

COVENTRY

£250.00 PER DAY

We are currently recruiting for a Accounts Receivable Project Manager to deliver best in class accounts receivable and processing services within a FTSE 100 company, managing the end to end process of customer 'application to billing and cash collection' for non tariff income of circa £80m pa across around 20 income streams.

The Accounts Receivable Project Manager has an important part to play:

- Establish and manage a separate backlog team to resolve blockages in certain income stream processes. The work of this team will need to be scoped in detail and a resolution plan developed which obtains the buy in of key operational stakeholders. Individual processes are to be transferred back to the core team when any issues in the underlying process have been resolved and backlogs have been eliminated.
- Ensure that the core team deliver in an effective and timely manner all transactional processing, cash collection and management reporting to meet company and internal KPIs. This should be delivered whilst maintaining a robust controls framework and ethos. Note these processes need to be re-established following a period of staff changes in this team.
- Develop and support both teams through appropriate ongoing coaching and training to instil a culture of delivery to deadlines and targets, cross functional working and continuous improvement.
- Develop appropriate SLAs and KPIs which use objective data to monitor performance both of the team and the wider process and use these to re-establish core processes and drive continuous improvement.

The Accounts Receivable Project Manager will have experience:

- Team leadership and staff management experience
- Expertise in process development and financial controls in ERP systems
- Experience of managing an Accounts Receivable team
- Experience of establishing working relationships with operational stakeholders within a short timescale
- Experience of establishing and managing project teams to address urgent issues.

Note that this role will have a strong focus on SAP process improvement. It is not suitable for individuals who are looking for a role as a Credit Control Manager only.

Education:

- Qualified Accountant/ICM professional(Desirable)
