INTERFACES AND DATA MIGRATION ANALYST (XML)
IDPP ARE LOOKING FOR AN ANALYST TO PERFORM ANALYSIS FOR DATA MIGRATION AND INTERFACES FOR THEIR CLIENT.
Start date: October 2012
Duration: 6 months+
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Languages: Dutch or French as mother tongue and good knowledge of the other language, English.
PROJECT:
You will be working with the as-is experts to get an understanding of the data in the as-is systems on one hand, and with the designers/analysts to get an understanding of the new class model.
You'll analyse how to migrate from the as-is model to the new model, identify any gaps and propose solutions on how to close them. You'll document the result of this analysis so that the development team can develop the necessary data migration programs.
You'll also perform analysis for interfaces. Most of these interfaces will be XML based, typically web services, but other formats are also possible. Also in this role, you need to document the result of the analysis..
SKILLS REQUIRED:
A Bachelor degree followed by at least 3-5 years experience in data analysis and interfaces. Good understanding of IT, preferably XML, strong analytical and documentation skills.
