INTERFACE DESIGNER - DOCUMENTUM DESIGNER, HTML, JS, XML, XSL, CMS

For a project with the European Commission we are looking for an Interface Designer with a minimum of 4 years of experience.

CONTEXT/INTRODUCTION
Continued upgrading of DG ECFIN's external Documentum XML based website and assistance in the migration of HTML content into XML based templates. Focus on the enhancement of interfaces by developing appropriate applications. Assistance in the migration or creation of other websites in Documentum

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

- Further enhancements of the Documentum XML based external website
- Workflow design to assist in decentralisation of Documentum content management
- Regular technical follow-up and evaluation of COMM Documentum developments
- HTML/XML/development
- CSS development
- Development of web-based mailing list subscription/distribution application
- Set-up of databases, if necessary, for any of the above applications. Development of SQL if needed
- Creation of mailing templates
- Design of new Documentum pages
- Video editing and conversion into Flash content
- Migration of reusable HTML (content) into new XML based templates
- Support and advice to web team and subsites managers
- Training of staff in use of decentralised Documentum plates and workflows
- Full technical documentation of all the described tasks above

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE:

- Web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, XSL, XML, ) and Document/Content Management Systems (Documentum, Sharepoint, Docshare, Filepro, )

THESE TECHNOLOGIES ARE CONSIDERED AN ASSET:

- SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, Adobe CSS suite, Altova, Notepad++, MS Office 2003 and 2010, Cute FTP and FileZilla, Ultra Edit.
