Interest Rates Derivatives Trading Surveillance Specialist - NYSE Liff

Post Trade Market Surveillance consultant with specific Interest Rate Derivatives Product knowledge ie from NYSE Liffe surveillance or similar experience sought for well paid contract in the City of London.

You will work within a niche small market team in a major player focusing on IRD products. Self-Starter with knowledge and ability to see issues/remit through from inception to completion on your own initiative essential.

The main responsibility is to provide specialist surveillance support to IRD product on a day-to-day basis with focus on surveillance decision making, on-going review of alerts and development of the surveillance activities, regular review of the Real Time trading surveillance and upon receipt of referrals to conduct all necessary post-trade investigation as well as regulatory reporting and disciplinary actions. The work will be conducted with the support from the broader Legal and Compliance function. This position will also lead the due diligence work required to understand the systems and controls in place at on-boarding and periodically thereafter.

The work tasks include surveillance of Real Time trading and the thorough analysis of complex trading situations in the interest rate derivatives market, and to make decisions and take actions that form market policy, practice and disciplinary actions.
