Interest Rate (Vanilla/Flow - Ops Trade Support)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We currently have an opportunity for a Trade Support Analyst to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of Trade Support Analyst you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors.

ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS:

- Timely validation and accurate affirmation of all trades captured in the Risk Management Systems
- Completion of EOD processes including completeness and reconciliation checks to ensure capture of new trading activity and general book management has been processed accurately
- Ensure all reconciliations and reports undertaken in the area are complete and signed off on a timely basis eg internal deals, exercise reports, and trade exceptions reports.
- Take full responsibility for the integrity of all curve data, underlying assets, trade booking, trade maintenance and appropriate reconciliations
- Support and enhance external customer relationships by responding in a timely manner to client requests and by pro-actively looking for opportunities to improve the general service

CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Middle Office experience ideally gained within an Investment Banking environment
- High level of understanding of Derivative products
- Working knowledge of Markitwire
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of clearing/SEF is advantageous
