Projektbeschreibung
We are currently looking for an experienced INTERACTION DESIGNER to join our well known tech innovation client situated in the Zurich area.
As INTERACTION DESIGNER ON THE SHOPPING MERCHANT TOOLS TEAM you will design user interfaces that solve complex interaction problems and communicate multifaceted information with elegance and simplicity.
You will be responsible for all stages of design: from early concepts to task flows and wireframes to detailed design specifications.
You will be expected to think strategically and execute with great attention to detail.
You will collaborate closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers.
You will make understanding user requirements a constant priority and tell compelling stories about users and products to support your work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define user models and task flows for new and existing Shopping Merchant Tools products and features.
- Develop storyboards, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas.
- Create documentation (design specifications, pixel perfect mockups, animations) that enables developers to build software that fosters a delightful user experience.
- Collaborate with and develop mutual respect and trust with product managers, engineers, researchers, and designers.
- Participate in user experience research and usability studies.
- Lead regular design reviews and participate in team-wide design efforts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in a design-related field (human-computer interaction, human factors, or graphic design).
- Three years experience designing complex desktop or web applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in a design-related field (human-computer interaction, human factors, or graphic design).
- Five years experience designing complex desktop or web applications.
- Outstanding conceptual and interaction design skills and a proven track record of designing and shipping successful software design experiences.
- Proven leadership in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user-centered design process.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
