Intelligence Officer/Researcher

An Intelligence Officer/Researcher is required for 3 months (likely to be extended) based in Woolwich

The Intelligence Officer/Researcher will be required to provide research and enhancement of information and intelligence to support the enforcement team.

Specific tasks:
*Undertake research to support the data analyst
*Use information sources to develop new intelligence received into the team
*Collate information for the use of the enforcement officers
*Evaluate incoming intelligence
*Assess intelligence reports in a timely manner
*Use information sources Produce research profiles
*Work closely with the Analysts to provide intelligence to inform intelligence products
*Identify intelligence gaps and emerging problems from development work
*Cross team working
*Conduct research and provide information to assist other areas of the business
*Contribute to the preparation of cases for proceedings and any investigations conducted on behalf of the enforcement team
*Relationship Management
*Support the information sharing relationships with key law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies for two-way information sharing at an operational level
*Maintain internal relationships to ensure two-way information sharing at an operational level
*Previous experience of working in an intelligence environment, gathering and developing intelligence

Experience:
*Working with others to achieve a goal
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Experience in a changing and demanding environment
*Accuracy and attention to detail is essential
*Highly conscious and aware of confidentiality and integrity with the ability to manage and interpret sensitive and confidential information
*Assist Analyst in the preparation of relevant information to support current investigations and/or enquiries (eg Open source checks, 192.com, etc)
*To provide research support to the enforcement team by collating, assessing and entering intelligence reports
*To assist in the preparation of tasking and briefing papers
*Excellent IT skills, including full competence in the use of MS Office

*Prioritises work, identifying more critical and less critical activities and tasks; adjusts priorities when appropriate Understanding of the issues of equal opportunities in relation to housing enforcement

This role is to start ASAP and will pay £15.26 per hour (Ltd/Umbrella)

MIT
Excellent IT skills, including full competence in the use of MS Office
