Intelligence Analyst Amsterdam Netherlands 3 Month Contract

One of my software house clients based in the Netherlands is recruiting for an Intelligence analyst on an initial 3 month contract basis to join their intelligence team. You will be part of a truly elite collection of SME's in security and have access to some the industries most cutting edge technologies.

You will be working within an international team of cybersecurity experts to tackle piracy threats against our local and global customers' assets.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordination of test purchases and interaction with our network of international analysts.
- Open source research of targets, business and pirate products.
- Covert approaches to and interaction with targets.
- Use of intelligence and web traffic databases.
- Identify and collect evidential data from websites, forums and social networks or persons which offer products or services that infringe on the intellectual property rights of or their customers.
- Use environmental scanning of open sources to identify new and emerging piracy threats.
- Use information visualisation software to support the analyst's reporting.
- Liaise with customers, external investigators and analysts.

EXPERIENCE AND PERSONALITY WE HOPE YOU BRING:

- Proven experience in a Crime or Intelligence analyst role.
- Some previous experience with analytical software
- Analytical mind with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
- Confidence and initiative to work independently, though also as part of a wider team.
- Previous experience in IP intelligence and IP enforcement would be a bonus.
