Intellectual Property Engineer

The role is a 12 month contract with the rate TBC.

The main duties of this role are to include,
-Detailed assessments and reporting of existing patents
-Defining freedom to operate searches
-collection of innovative ideas from the development projects
-writing invention disclosures
-development of patents portfolio covering key technologies.

The right person must come from an Electronic engineering background and have experience of carrying out detailed work on patents with knowledge of the full process.
Any previous Innovative experience will also be helpful for this role.

Strong communication skills are a must as the successful candidate will be required to liaise with project teams, the project manager, hardware engineers, software engineers and lawyers.
