Integrity Engineer

Progressive Global Energy are working alongside our client, a leading services company to the international oil and gas production industry. They have a brilliant permanent opportunity based in Aberdeen for an experienced integrity engineer to be based onshore.

Role:

The Asset Integrity Engineer will be responsible for the management of the integrity of Pressure Systems, Pipelines, Structures, Utilities and similar equipment.

Responsibilities:

* Ensuring that all asset integrity related issues are managed and that the appropriate support is provided to the Operations Manager and to the onshore /offshore Operations Teams
* Review, update and implement the Asset Integrity Management Strategies & Procedures as required ensuring compliance with regulatory, corporate and business best practice
* Be familiar with the appropriate statutory legislation, Safety Case and Safety Management Systems used to support the role
* Manage the Integrity Management Contractor for Pressure Systems, Structures & Pipelines.
* Manage the ongoing development & implementation of Integrity Management Database
* Develop & manage KPI's for both Corrosion Monitoring & Inspection Activities
* chair and lead monthly Corrosion Management Team Meetings and be responsible for Execution of actions by all parties.
* Provide technical advice to onshore & offshore personnel as and when required
* Provide onshore support for the planning, and execution of the integrity strategies and work scopes, including shutdowns.
* Manage the implementation of the Risk-Based Inspection
* Carry out quarterly offshore visits to ensure full understanding of the FPSO's needs in relation to integrity related issues
* Develop, prepare and issue annual budget forecasts for assigned budget scope.
* Review anomaly reports and ensure that anomalies are issued to the relevant discipline for repair and recorded appropriately within the Anomaly Database & CMMS System
* Risk Assessment as per procedure for anomalies and ensure that all actions are recorded and implemented
* Ensure that Performance Standards are met with regards to Safety Critical Elements

Skills and Qualifications:

* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering discipline
