Progressive Global Energy are working in partnership with a leading provider of oilfield services to the international oil and gas industry, in sourcing a talented and experienced Integrity Engineer.

This is a permanent position within the companies Offshore, Projects & Operations Division, for a large producer, currently based in Hamburg. The successful applicant will require to be flexible in their approach to location and work pattern for the Pre-operations phase of the project and applications from persons not currently fulfilling the requirements of the role are welcome.

Role and Responsibilities:

The management of all integrity issues for the Producer FPSO including but not limited to piping, pipelines, vessels and similar equipment. Also provide to support other assets if required

Focal point for ensuring that all integrity related issues are managed and that the appropriate support is provided to the Operations manager and to the onshore and offshore Operations Teams.

Develop integrity procedures as required and then be responsible for their implementation. Ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate and business best practices.

Be familiar with the appropriate statutory legislation, Safety Case and Safety Management Systems used to support the role.

Provide technical advice to onshore/offshore personnel as and when required.

Provide onshore support for the planning, and execution of the integrity strategies and work scopes, including shutdowns.

Ensure appropriate contract management to ensure alignment with platform business/compliance objectives. Mobilise and manage personnel as required

Ensure change control is adhered to, prior to accepting modifications as being completed.

Carry out regular offshore visits to ensure full understanding of their needs in relation to integrity related issues.

Develop, prepare and issue annual budget forecasts for assigned budget scope. Monitor monthly costs against approved annual and ad-hoc budgets

Skills and Qualifications

* Educated to Degree level or equivalent
* Previous industrial experience in the oil & gas industry working as an Integrity Engineer
* Good communication skills
* Self motivated and enthusiastic when working as part of a team or on own initiative
* Use skills and experience to contribute to problem solving and improving the day to day running of the department.
