Integration/Test Engineer

For a client in Amsterdam, we are looking for an integration/test engineer. The client is a major player in the Telecoms industry and the duration of the project is for at least 6 months. Hiring process is fast.

The client is currently building a whole new platform where tv shows and movies will be delivered. In order to build this platform software and hardware components are brought together and tested by the integration engineers to see if everything is working fine.

THE IDEAL APPLICANT

- Experienced in the telecom industry
- Experience in testing and automation
- At least 5 years of experience in e2e system integration
- Understanding of CPE hardware and software, video encoding/transcoding
- Solid knowledge of telecommunications technologies including: Ethernet, IP protocols
- Python Scripting knowledge

THE JOB

- Perform e2e system integration activities
- Provide E2e design
- Test software and hardware components
- Support service transition and QA team on investigation of P1 issues
