INTEGRATION SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

ROLE SUMMARY

The Integration Solution Architect supports the delivery teams with the design of API solutions (inbound/outbound).

This role covers:

- Analyse business and technical requirements and deliver industry state-of-the-art solutions
- Solution design for integration with 3rd party vendors
- Partnering with a range of stakeholders to ensure the API platform architecture and roadmaps are defined, maintained, Embedded and used
- Close collaboration and knowledge sharing with the architecture team
- Define guidelines for integration/interface best practices
- Keep up to date on API technology and best practices

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Solution Design for integration/API related projects
- Creation and implementation of technical concepts for API life cycle
- Audit of API implementations
- Implementation of Proof-of-Concept
- Vendor and technology evaluation
- Problem analysis related to API design, implementation, security and/or performance

SKILLS

- Professional training or degree in computer science/engineering (or equivalent)
- Track record in designing and developing web services/API
- Proven knowledge of web technologies (eg JavaScript, SOAP/REST, Swagger/RAML, XML, JSON) and web security (eg identity management, OAuth 2.0).
- Good understanding of API design tool (eg Swagger tools) and API Management platforms.
- Experience with Spring Framework is an advantage.
- English written and spoken on negotiation level, German is an asset
