INTEGRATION MANAGER/GEMONICS

Act as the primary interface to ensure samples are delivered to sequencing on time and to quality.

Manage and monitor performance against sample commitments. Understand and input to project medicine centres processes and procedures to optimise sequencing success rate and clinical data collection. Liaise with clinical and operational teams within the project and its stake holders to improve process, quality and timeliness.The role requires someone with a strong analytical and consulting approach to their work, to help improve whole genome sequencing processes across the programme of studies.

This role will be mainly focused of pilot projects in a major medical breakthrough with Genomes and the NHS. The programme will involve working on an experimental trail that has the potential to help millions of people. The role will help how the organisation will put the project into practice as well as how this project could be put into a larger scale. The aim of the programme is to test out proposed changes via pilots before the changes are fully implemented.

Skills

- Strong business analysis and process mapping skills
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement skills, ideally from a consulting background
- Understanding of (or demonstrable ability to learn) tissue sampling and cell pathology, especially with regards to whole genome sequencing
- Clinical operational experience in UK healthcare environment essential
- Good understanding of information governance and clinical informatics
- Experience in project management & project delivery is essential
- Educated to masters level or above in relevant discipline
